Biography

I work as a university lecturer in foreign language didactics at the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Turku. I have a background in teaching. I have worked as a special class teacher in Finland and as a teacher at an International Baccalaureate school in the Netherlands.



Research

My main research interests include foreign language teaching and learning, CLIL education, differentiation and intercultural education. I am specialised in qualitative research, especially interviews and visual methods.



Teaching

In academic year 2022-2023, I teach in the following courses:

- Introduction to Subject-Specific Didactics (autumn 2022)
- Advanced Subject-Specific Didactical Skills (autumn 2022)
- Research Seminar II (autumn 2022-spring 2023)


I am on research leave in spring 2023.
