The center of distances of a metric space (π,π) is the set πΆ(π) of all π‘ββ+ for which the equation π(π₯,π)=π‘ has a solution for each πβπ. We prove that the equalities πΆ(π)={0} or πΆ(π)={0,diamπ} hold if (π,π) is an ultrametric space generated by labeled trees. The necessary and sufficient conditions under which diamπβπΆ(π) are found.
