Nowadays, the Internet has changed the way people learn in their daily life. Electronic learning (E-learning) has gradually been taking promising place in education institutions due to its technological advantages. Utilizing Nonaka's four knowledge creation basic processes (Socialization, Externalization, Combination and Internalization) and the combination of asynchronous & synchronous methods in the form of Absorb-Do-Connect-Create activities, this study proposes a hybrid design model of E-learning. The learning activities will follow either online method or with face-to-face meeting. The new hybrid E-learning design is expected to enhance students' practical knowledge and competencies related to domain topics.
