Scandinavian Languages (Swedish, Finland Swedish, Norwegian); Syntax; Spoken Language; Generative Grammar
I research the special features of Fenno-Swedish (Swedish dialects spoken in Finland) syntax which means properties and expressions that are unavailable for Standard Swedish. The aim of my PhD Thesis is to examine what how Fenno-Swedish syntax differs from other Swedish variants. The theoretical framework of my thesis is generative linguistics.
My teaching tasks are closely linked to my research work and I am responsible for the course "Aktuell forskning i nordiska språk" [Current Research in Nordic Languages].
