Jouni Saarni is a development manager in CCR and oversees the CCR's project and proposal portfolio. He also is an expert in analysing industries and their dynamics. He finished his master's studies in economics at Turku School of Economics in 2009. Starting from 2007 he has worked at TSE as research trainee and project researcher and since 2015 in current role. His research interests relate into competition, industries and technological change. He has worked with these themes in many projects, such as regulation evaluations and business mapping of maritime industries. Jouni has worked as well in academic research projects as research carried out for the needs of both public and private parties. He is also very familiar with the markets and industries of maritime sector, postal services, car inspection and private physician services in Finland, and has planned various project proposals both from academic and industry perspective. Jouni also coordinates the organizing and acts as facilitator in CCR's Business Innovation Camps.
