Hanna Laalo works at the research project “Living on the Edge: Lifelong Learning, Governmentality and the Production of Neurotic Citizen” funded by the Academy of Finland. Her doctoral thesis published in 2020 was about entrepreneurial rationality in education policy language and in the educational practices of higher education




Hanna Laalo has a focus on education policy, sociology of education, and entrepreneurial governmentality in education. The research project “Living on the Edge: Lifelong Learning, Governmentality and the Production of Neurotic Citizen” investigates unintended consequences of LLL policies.
