Biografia

I graduated from the Faculty of Law in 2001 and from the Turku School of Economics in 2002. I started to work at the University of Turku in 2002. From 2006 to 2020, I worked at
the Turku School of Economics. Since 2016, I have been Adjunct Professor of food law at the Faculty of Law, University of Turku. Currently, I work at Finnish Environmental Institute. Together with UTU SusBerg research group members, we continue to study the issues that are at the intersection of sustainable development and brand equity.

Tutkimus

My main research topics are sustainability transition and justice. I am particularly interested in the role of legal and regulatory tools in promoting innovation and systemic change. I have written for example about the regulations on insect foods and on probiotic functional foods. I am interested in evolutionary psychology as a metatheory explaining human behaviour, including behaviours related to food choice and morality.

Opetus

I am not a teacher anymore. I used to teach environmental law, responsible business, consumer behaviour and many other things.
