Cosmopolitanism; social entrepreneurship
COSMO research project - funded by the Academy of Finland, Finnish Work Environment Fund and NordFors.
Originally from Vietnam, Dan Ha has been a member of the University of Turku since 2021, pursuing a master's and doctoral degree in International Business. Prior to that, she had nearly 20 years of experience in the banking sector, holding director-level positions at multinational banks such as HSBC and CIMB.
Having lived and worked in various countries, Dan Ha has directly observed how immersing oneself in diverse perspectives can enhance worldviews and strengthen personal identities. Such lived experiences spark her research interests. Her current research focuses on how cosmopolitan individuals develop a cosmopolitan identity and how this identity influences their daily interactions in diverse settings, such as the workplace and beyond.
Dan Ha's research focuses on unveiling the multifaceted identities and lived experiences of globally mobile individuals, who traverse borders in pursuit of self-fulfillment in both their personal and professional lives.
