Immunotherapy, Ocular Oncology, Biomarker Discovery, Bioinformatics
I completed my doctoral training through a joint project between the University of Turku and the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI), focused on developing a novel metastatic uveal melanoma model to investigate resistance mechanisms to immune checkpoint inhibitors. This work was part of an international collaboration involving SERI, the University of Turku, and the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Research Group (LOORG).
Currently, I work as a Research Fellow continuing translational research in tumor immunology and biomarker discovery, with a focus on precision medicine approaches for the diagnosis and management of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and metastatic melanoma. My work integrates single-cell genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and lipidomics, combined with in-house bioinformatics pipelines and artificial intelligence tools to analyze multi-omics data and drive clinically relevant insights across various specimen types.
