Research
My research focuses on the metabolic engineering of cyanobacteria to enable their use as biotechnological host for production of variety of chemicals. Another focus area is the development of genetic tools which are required for efficient and predictable modification of these photosynthetic organisms. My research involves the use of molecular biology, microbiology and different analytical methods.
