I am Dr. Krishna Kant Pandey, a materials scientist with expertise in thermal sprayed coatings, especially atmospheric plasma spraying. I hold a PhD from IIT Patna and have postdoctoral experience from IIT Patna, IIT Ropar, and currently at the University of Turku, Finland. My academic journey includes an M.Tech in Production Technology and a B.Tech in Industrial and Production Engineering. I have published extensively in top journals, focusing on corrosion, tribology, and nanocomposite coatings. With hands-on experience in advanced characterization and manufacturing techniques, I aim to contribute meaningfully to research and innovation in materials engineering. Over the course of my academic career, I have published around 35 peer-reviewed journal papers and hold one granted patent. My research expertise spans advanced nanocomposites, 2D materials, laser-based manufacturing processes, protective coatings, and materials for extreme environments, with applications in aerospace, defense, and mining. I have also worked extensively on wear-resistant and corrosion-protective coatings, superlubricity solutions using graphene and other 2D materials, as well as advanced manufacturing techniques such as laser forming, laser cutting, plasma spraying, and additive manufacturing.
