My research interests span a broad spectrum of issues related to biodiversity and sustainability. My background in ecology helps with understanding the challenges we are facing from a natural science perspective, but my current research topics focus on biodiversity policies, human behavior and transformative change, drawing from policy research, conservation psychology, philosophy as well as sustainability science more broadly. Current issues of interest include e.g. nature restoration and the EU’s Nature Restoration Regulation and the role of science and scientists at the science-policy-practice interface and in advancing transformation.
