I am a kindergarten teacher (now referred to as an early childhood education and care (ECEC) teacher) by background, and I completed my PhD at the University of Turku in 2025.

I work as a University lecturer in early childhood teacher education at the Rauma campus of the Department of Teacher Education, University of Turku. Prior to my position at the University of Turku, I worked as a teacher in ECEC.

My research interests include the pedagogy of early childhood education and care (ECEC) and early childhood teacher education, their historical and societal connections, learning environments in teacher education, and the collaborative development of work practices.
