Project Researcher for IDA project (https://www.dataintimacy.fi/en/)

I graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Turku with a Master of Laws degree in 2017. During that time, I had the opportunity to participate in research project Making MyData Real, which motivated me to apply for a position as a Doctoral Researcher within the faculty. I ended up working full time as a data protection specialist for several years and returned in autumn 2021 to work as a Project Researcher for IDA project with the focus on data protection law, specifically the justifications of using and sharing personal data. I also participate in a multidisciplinary research, combining law and technology approaches. Starting in 2025, I work as a project researcher for the AMEMPLOY (Algorithmic Management in Employment) research project, focusing on assessing algorithmic management-related legal issues from the perspective of data protection and data governance.

My research focuses on EU data and technology law, particularly on justifications of sharing and reusing sensitive data from the perspective of data protection law. My fields of interest include all kinds of legal issues relating to information and technology law, as well as digital rights.
