Deliberative democracy, artificial intelligence, long-term governance, democratic innovations, risks
I am currently a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Turku, focusing on democratic long-term governance in the context of technologies like AI. I am also a Research Manager at Demos Helsinki, where I coordinate the think tank's research funding to enable societal transformation, especially within Horizon Europe.
As a political theorist my reserach centers on democratic innovations and long-term governance. More specifically, I approach these issues in the context of global challenges and risks, especially in terms of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. I am interested about future-proofing democracies by advancing deliberative practices in the context of AI and just transition.
