Anu Kröger is a PhD, who works as the Head of Faculty Development in the Faculty of Education, University of Turku. She has extensive expertise on teaching and teacher education, including working as a classroom teacher for 14 years.
Kröger has especially been involved in two national teacher education development projects, the OVET and the FinTED projects. Previously, Kröger (Warinowski) was the director of the OVET project (2017–2020), which created a research-based model for teaching (the MAP model) and national suitability testing for Finnish teacher education.
Currently, she is the operational director of the national Finnish Teacher Education Database (FinTED) . Also, she works as the chair of subsection 1 (Interest and staying power through foresight and student admissions) of the Teacher Education Forum in Finland.
Moreover, Kröger holds a title of Docent (associate professor) in “education, especially international mobility in families” at the Department of Teacher Education, University of Turku.
