Obada is a pharmacist by education, he obtained his bachelor's degree from Philadelphia University. Later on he decided to pursue an academic career, so he moved to Finland in 2015 and got enrolled in the Drug Discovery and Development master's program. Obada's master thesis aimed at characterizing novel PET tracer for imaging p-tau in Alzheimer's disease model. He obtained his master's degree in 2017 and thereafter has been working as a project researcher at the preclinical imaging laboratory in Turku PET Center. Obada's research work is centered around biological development of PET tracers for imaging various pathologies in Alzheimer's disease.
