The fundamental results related to the conformal geometry of the complex plane are introduced. Möbius transformations are explained, and hyperbolic geometry is studied in the cases of the unit disk and the upper half-plane. The triangular ratio metric is inspected in several different domains and the Ptolemy-Alhazen problem is introduced.
