Abstract

15 species of mosses (Bryophyta: Arctoa anderssonii, Dicranum schljakovii, Didymodon validus, Encalypta driva, E. pilifera, Meesia minor, M. minutissima, Orthotrichum pulchellum, Oxyrrhynchium hians sensu stricto, O. swartzii, Pohlia vexans, Polytrichum densifolium, Tomentypnum involutum, Tortella robusta, Ulota crispula) and three species of liverworts (Marchantiophyta: Apopellia megaspora, Bazzania flaccida, Liochlaena subulata) are presented as new for Finland. Acaulon muticum, Fossombronia incurva and Lescuraea patens, previously considered to be regionally extinct from Finland, are reported to being found again. Finally, Gyroweisia tenuis has been found on the second locality in Finland and therefore reported to widen its’ distribution in the country significantly.gain.
