The fauna of the subfamily Stilbopinae Townes and Townes, 1949, in the Middle East includes two species, Stilbops ruficornis (Gravenhorst) and S. vetulus (Gravenhorst), which have been recorded from Iran (both mentioned species) and Turkey (S. ruficornis).
