Abstract
The fauna of the subfamily Xoridinae Shuckard, 1840, in the Middle East comprises 24 known species in three genera: Ischnoceros Gravenhorst, 1829 (with 2 species), Odontocolon Cushman, 1942 (with 5 species), and XoridesLatreille, 1809 (with 17 species). Among the Middle Eastern countries, the fauna of Iran with 21 recorded species is more diverse than the other countries. An identification key is provided to the genera of the subfamily Xoridinae in the Middle East.
