The fauna of the subfamily Tryphoninae Shuckard, 1840 in the Middle East comprises at least 150 known species distributed across 28 genera, with Netelia Gray, 1860 being the most species-rich genus, containing 42 known species. Among the Middle Eastern countries, Iran exhibits the highest diversity, with 110 species within 26 genera, followed by Turkey with 90 species, Israel-Palestine with 20 species, Egypt with 9 species, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, and Syria each with 4 species, Jordan with 3 species, and Kuwait with 1 species.
