A short popularised article in Turun Sanomat together with professor Juha Hiedanpää from Natural Research Institute in Finland. The article is about the recreational area and their role as bridge-builders between the use of natural resources, human well-being and natural protection. The point of view in this article is land use planning, deliberative discussions and the attitudes of the people towards the importance of recreational areas especially near the population centres and near them. The article is part of PALO-project (STN funded project in which UTU is active partner).
