Urban resilience is the power of a city to face the challenge and threat under the city development process in the future. The city cultural space is the handle of city cultural dismission, city information delivery, and city image shaping. It is a significant part of the construction of a resilient city. City cultural space can play three types of role in building resilient cities: as an information service center, as a cultural experience place, and as a cultural propaganda window. Information service center refers to providing citizens, communities, and cities with adequate information at each stage of city crisis, to ensure smoothness of communication. Cultural experience place refers to holding various cultural events to strengthen the coping capability of citizens, communities, and cities, and to cultivate the sense of communities and cities. Cultural propaganda window refers to promoting the cohesion of local culture and the creation of city image. These multiple roles construct the diversity and richness of city cultural space and enhance the resilience of urban, which may promote the continuous development of the city.
