Carlos 'Luca' Idrobo has been exploring the subject of walking from as many angles as possible over the last fifteen years, either as researcher or artist. Taken inspiration from such backgrounds, he developed his cumulative piece Love Letters to Walking Art & Science (2024), combining photography, experimental drawing, land art, performance, and creative writing. This work one of the shortlisted pieces for the 2025 Marŝarto Awards. In this article, he discusses his work and the ideas behind it.
