New species of Taraxacum from Norrbotten, northern Scandinavia

Cultivation experiments and DNA microsatellite-analysis helped to establish 20 new species of Taraxacum from Norrbotten, northern Scandinavia which are described here: 19 of them belong to T. sect. Crocea: Taraxacum anttii, T. eupolyglochin, T. grothii, T. hebephyllum, T. irmae, T. pectinatulum, T. phoeostephum, T. piceeti, T. platyacrum, T. platycolpum, T. porphyodon, T. pseudohypochaeris, T. pseudooreinum, T. silvanum, T. skajtense, T. svansteinense, T. transiens, T. unidens, T. viridellum and one to T. sect. Borealia: T. norrbottnicum.
