Persistent symptoms, such as functional disorders and fatigue-related symptoms, cause significant harm and distress without clear anatomical or biochemical explanations. Patients often face complex social and health challenges. The Turku Outpatient Clinic for Functional and Fatigue Disorders coordinates multidisciplinary social and healthcare services based on individual needs, aiming to provide comprehensive biopsychosocial rehabilitation for persistent symptoms. This pilot study assesses the clinic's social and economic impacts, highlighting key findings and the need for further research.
