The paper provides an integrated and theoretically-informed account of the delivery and reception of business support to migrant entrepreneurs. This moves beyond extant studies that focus on one-sided perspectives of entrepreneurs or business support providers. Second, it accounts for the migrant entrepreneurs’ experiences of business support. This serves the practical function of casting light on whether such initiatives actually work. Finally, it provides a granular assessment of how the Finnish context shapes the approach and delivery of business support paying due regard to the contextualisation of migrant entrepreneurship research.
