Abstract
Oximation (i.e. reaction between an aminooxy and an aldehyde group) has been shown to be an attractive coupling method for on-support conjugation of oligonucleotides. For that purpose, base tethered (1) and two normucleosidic (2 and 3) phosphoramidites, bearing phthaloyl protected aminooxy groups have been prepared and their applicability to solidphase oligonucleotide assembly and on-support conjugation with various aldehydes have been demonstrated.
