We present U-Pb single-grain laser-ablation zircon data from gabbroic rocks in three locations in southern Finland. In Ruissalo, Turku, the mafic intrusions are found within the Airisto shear zone with ages of c. 1.83-1.82 Ga. In Muurla, the c. 1.81 Ga granite cuts across the c. 1.83-1.82 Ga gabbro. In Salittu, Karjalohja, the 1.83-1.82 Ga mafic dyke crosscuts the picrite. These findings indicate heat transfer from the mantle to the crust during the lateorogenic stage.
