One way of protecting victims of violence, threat and stalking are judicial protection orders. The POEMS project addresses the differences in laws in this area across the European Union. The project collected legal expert reports from 27 member states and interviewed protected victims in Finland, Italy, the Netherlands and Portuga. The aim was to find best practices and gaps in protection at national level and to assess how the difference may affect the implementation of cross-border protection in Europe.
