Abstract
A new family of non-nucleosidic phospharamidite rt agents derived from either esters or amides of 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)malonic acid is described. The utility of the building blocks 1-5 ii demonstrated by preparation of 5'-phosphorylated oligonucleotides as well as hydrophobic, polyamino and fluorescent labelled oligonucleotide analogues.
