In this paper, we draw on Niklas Luhmann’s social systems theory to demonstrate the effectiveness of social systems theory for the assessment of potential issues arising from a PMI challenges. Moreover, we outline the basic design of a big data platform that facilitates corresponding organizational culture analysis useful the anticipation and management of PMI issues and challenges.
