Mainstream research on games and gaming related to elderlies revolves around the use of games as tools to help them to get better, either cognitively or physically. These games have specific goals for prevention and rehabilitation, and on these they have solid background. But, how much of these games really are games, and do we know what kind of games the elderlies actually would like to play? What do they think about the new thing that we are pushing to them? These questions were brought up by our own involvement with an exergaming related research project. To find answers for these questions, we have held series of gaming meetings and clubs for the elderlies. From these we have collected opinions and stories from our participants that tell their story of elderly persons playing digital games.
