This publication provides an overview the 22 years of cooperation between the University of Turku and four Estonian universities (the University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology, the Estonian University of Life Sciences and Tallinn University) with the area of Western Estonia, especially with the County of Saaremaa.
During the years 1992 – 1997 several training and development projects were undertaken using various financial sources, and from 1995 onwards financing provided by the European Union also.
There are also figures describing the University Centre and they show that in 2012 there were over 7000 people taking part in its activities.
