SummaryThe project studies the well-being of Finnish minority youth at school, during military service and during leisure time. The specific focus of the research is Muslim youth and their participation in Finnish society. The multi-method project collects data through surveys, interviews and observations. The project will produce four articles and one applied report, which presents ways to promote the participation of minority youth in Finnish society. The project is led by Prof. Tuomas Martikainen and involves doctoral students from three Finnish universities (TY, ÅA, HY).
