Management Accounting, Management Control
Jani Taipaleenmäki is currently working as CFO of Efima Oy. Jani’s ongoing projects include his doctoral dissertation project focusing in management accounting evolution, as well as other research studies in the field of management accounting and management control.
Jani’s research interests cover both technical and behavioral issues in management accounting and information systems. He has published in respected scientific journals and in the past and he has taught courses on management accounting and information systems, as well as executive education. He was member of the board of Turku School of Economics during 1996-1998.
Research Interests: management accounting change, the interface of information technology and management control, the interface of innovation and control, including R&D control and accounting in NPD.
In the past, Jani has given courses on e.g. cost accounting, accounting information systems and entrepreneurship. He has also supervised Master’s thesis work.
