Future Ethics Research Group
I am a Postdoctoral researcher at Turku School of Economics, University of Turku, Finland. I defended my thesis about patient information ownership in 2016. Currently research focus is on ethics of IS especially in the context of data economy and ecosystems from Discourse ethics prespective.
My research is also covering areas such as eHealth, IPR’s, privacy, IS procurement, Well-being in digital society etc. from ethical side.
I have leaded several reserach projects
- 2018-2020 as PI of Sitra funded project IHAN-etiikka that focuses on the ethical data economy
- 2020-2021 as PI of Eettinen OmaDataOperaattori-project funded by the City of Turku
- 2022-2023 as PI of Datan Eettinen ja Laillinen Hallinta-project (1.1.2022-30.6.2023)2
- 2021-2023 as Projetct manager of DELHA (Datan Eettinen ja Laillinen Hallinta-project funded by the City of Turku (https://future-ethics.utu.fi/delha/)

Currently(1.5.2024-30.4.2026), I work as PI of HyväÄly(Good AI)-project focusing on AI use that support employees wellbeing. Prorject is funded by European Social Fund.
