Biography
I'm currently working as a project researcher in the Department of Teacher Education in the University of Turku.
I defended my doctoral dissertation (phonetics) on October 29th 2021 at the University of Turku. My doctoral dissertation focuses on children's second language sound learning. In the four articles included in the dissertation, I examine the effects of different factors (age, learning environment, phonetic training methods) on school-aged children's second language sound perception and production learning.
