I graduated
in fall 2015 from the University of Turku, and I have been writing my PhD
thesis starting from summer 2016. In addition, I have worked for the projects
Arkisyn and Multilingualism in Finnish industrialization at the University of
Turku. I spent the academic year 2018/2019 as a visiting PhD in the University of
Tartu. I have two cats, Donna and Fiina, and I occupy my free time with food
and other kinds of culture. 

I study Finnish internet memes from a cognitive linguistics point of view. My data consists of authentic multi- and monomodal intenet memes gathered from online conversations. 

I teach academic Finnish and I have given lectures on cognitive linguistics and construction grammar.
