Originally from Vietnam, Dan Ha has been a member of the University of Turku since 2021, pursuing a master's and doctoral degree in International Business. Prior to that, she had nearly 20 years of experience in the banking sector, holding director-level positions at multinational banks such as HSBC and CIMB.
Having lived and worked in various countries, Dan Ha has directly observed how immersing oneself in diverse perspectives can enhance worldviews and strengthen personal identities. Such lived experiences spark her doctoral research interests.
Dan Ha's research interests include:
- unveilling the multifaceted identities and lived experiences of globally mobile individuals, who traverse borders in pursuit of self-fulfillment in both their personal and professional lives.
- exploring how HRM strategies and practices are transforming to accommodate social relationships in digitally mediated work conditions
During 2023 - 2024, Dan Ha is a member of the teaching team in Global Innovation Management, a Master's Degree Programme offered by the International Business department. She is a co-facilitator for courses, such as International Business Strategy, Research Methods in International Innovation Management, and Managing International Innovation Development.
