In recent years, my research has concentrated on the history of Finnish nuclear politics, uranium mining, and the environmental art of anti-nuclear and anti-uranium mining social movements.
I work as Senior Lecturer in Museology at the University of Jyväskylä. My main responsibilities include the coordination of and teaching and supervision in the Master's Degree Programme in Cultural Environment Research. I also supervise PhD students.
My research areas include history and philosophy of archaeology, maritime archaeology and heritage management, arts-based methods in archaeology and heritage studies, and nuclear culture studies.
