In school I was fascinated by almost everything. I studied everything from physics, math and chemistry to biology, psychology and history. I was most intrigued by physics and mathematics, indulging in them more even in my free time. So I ended up moving form Kotka to Turku to study physics in 2022. I just graduated with a Bachelor's in physics and I' continuing with a Master's in theoretical physics. I am currently working as a trainee in the Luminous Materials and Devices Group.

I tend to spend my free time playing the guitar and trumpet, working out, and hanging out with my friends. Music especially has been a very important thing for me throughout my life.

I wrote my Bachelor's thesis on markovian quantum collision models. From there I've started to move on to studying more open quantum systems, especially quantum optics. In my studies alongside my major studies in physics, I've had a large focus on mathematics. Most recently, I've been having a deep dive into abstract algebra and it's powerful applications to describing symmetries in physics.
