Materials Science and Biological Engineering
Circular Materials Bioeconomy Network (CIMANET)
I completed B.Tech in Biotechnology from Delhi Technological University (DTU) in India. After which, I was selected for collaborative masters program between Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT-GN) and Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST). This double degree masters program build my interest at the intersection of biological engineering and materials science reasearch. Following which, I am currently a CIMANET doctoral researcher within Solar Energy and Materials (SEMS) group led by Prof. Kati Miettunen at UTU.
My research is focused on advancing bio-based materials for applications in perovskite solar cells, combining innovation with sustainability. I aim to integrate renewable materials such as cellulose to form transparent and conductive substrates for the next-generation optoelectronic devices. An effort towards making sunlight work smarter, not harder. Additionally, my research interests lie at the intersection of experimental, computational and characterization techniques for studying (bio)molecules.
