Mari Törne is a PhD candidate in Doctoral Programme in Clinical Research (DPCR). The research interest is in cardiovascular diseases, especially from preventive prespective. She has MSc in health sciences from Jyväskylä University in Exercise and sports medicine. She is a senior lecturer in physiotherapy in Satakunta University of Applied Sciences and has a long experience in pedagogical work. Her special interest is cardiovascular rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, exercise physiology and simulation pedagogy.

The research topic of interest is cardivascular diseases, especially from preventive perspective.
