Tutkimus

My doctoral research of cultural sustainability transformation and futures of sufficiency focuses on cultural nuances related to sustainable transformation and the potential barriers towards green transition and just futures.

Contemporary discourse within the field of sustainable transformation places emphasis on the concepts of efficiency and consistency. Sufficiency has re-emerged as a concept amongst policy makers and researchers as a means of contrasting the excessive focus on efficiency and consistency within sustainability theory in the context of futures.
