I specialize in the study of Western esotericism, European witchcraft and the history of magic.




I'm currently working on my PhD disseration about a Helsinki based coven called "The Tattarisuo Coven", which was active in 1930s. I research the different building blocks behind Tattarisuo Coven's magical pratice and esoteric worldview. The research project focuses on the group's distinctive rituals and magical worldview which combines elements from Finnish folk belief and international esoteric traditions of ritual magic. The study also focuses on working class esotericism and on magical rituals as means of class warfare.
