I have been a doctoral researcher at the University of Turku since 2025. I studied computer science at the Helsinki University of Applied Sciences in 1998-2002, computer science, theoretical philosophy and aesthetics at the University of Helsinki in 2002-2012, and cultural history at the University of Turku in 2010-2012. During my career, I have worked in various IT and information management positions, mainly in public administration.

I am writing my dissertation on the perceptions of the people, nation and Englishness in the English Civil War period. I will use inexpensive printed materials, pamphlets and newsbooks as my main primary sources.
