I am a passionate virologist dedicated to advancing innovation and contributing to groundbreaking research and therapies. My expertise includes BSL-2 laboratory practises, phage isolation, aseptic techniques, virus purification processes, and viral analytics. I am particularly fascinated by how viruses can be harnessed for novel therapeutic applications.
I have a background working at the University of Jyväskylä and in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently, I am deepening my knowledge in immunology and cytomegaloviruses. Through a research-driven career, I aim to combine my deep curiosity with practical applications to bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and real-world solutions. As an enthusiastic and motivated researcher, I aspire to shape my career around understanding and leveraging viruses to address global challenges.
Evaluation of Immune-Based Therapies for Cytomegalovirus positive cancer forms
Exploring the role of cytomegalovirus (CMV) in tumour biology and its potential as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment. My research will combine anti-viral therapies with immune-based approaches to enhance treatment efficacy and improve outcomes for patients with CMV-positive cancer forms.
