Aman Kumar is a doctoral researcher in the Materials for Flexible Devices research group at the University of Turku. He completed his BSc in Chemistry (Honours) and MSc in Inorganic Chemistry at Shoolini University, India, followed by a second MSc in Materials Chemistry at the University of Turku, Finland. Before starting his doctoral studies, he worked as a research assistant in the Materials for Flexible Devices group at the University of Turku.
My current research focuses on synthesising functional materials and integrating them into surfaces to achieve hydrophobic and superhydrophobic properties. The work involves material design, fabrication, and characterization to understand how surface structure and chemistry influence wettability, with the overall goal of developing surfaces for efficient water harvesting applications.
